Welingkar might be a good option for you. But, if this is your first attempt at CAT or XAT, there is nothing to get disheartened. Get some work experience and come back again at CAT and XAT because you'll get a dream college from these exams only. I hope you've heard King Bruce and the spider's story. So, try and try until you succeed.

It's a question of individual choice. Some prefer working for a couple of years whereby they earn & also along with it prepare for the CAT. In this way, one can get an opportunity of self-financing the MBA course.There are a lot of institutes that provide coaching for CAT. You could join them & prepare well for the open test.

Last question first, PUMBA is a university department of Management Sciences which is autonomous. and NO we do not have foreign study tour. PUMBA has some excellent faculty for finance so its good for finance too.
Regarding percentile you have to check last year DTE's website, i think around 96-98 percentile will get you through!

Follow the procedure as directed by DTE. You will have to apply by both maharashtra seats and all india seats.
