Its on you about which career choices you prefer. There are good MAT colleges with promising career opportunities but they are very less in number. But if you give CAT along with MAT, you can have many good options for MBA.

Hey manas,
different weightage is given to different parameters for final selection. here it is- The final selection for regular round of PGDM and PGDM-HCM will be made on the basis of objective assessment (40% weightage), the candidate's past academic performance (15% weightage), work experience, if any (10% weightage), performance in face to face evaluation process (30 % weightage) and composite diversity index (5% weightage). This is Subject to obtaining a desired proficiency in written communication and a minimum score for each evaluation component, except work experience. 70%tile is the cutoff. There is no reservation for exams. Selection is done based on the performance in GD-PI.

Convert the marks into percentile. IF it comes up to 70%tile or higher then you are eligible. As for the work ex, yes it will help not only in getting selected to XIME but also placements. Work ex is always prefered by companies. But it doesn't necessarily mean you will get a higher package as it depends on which company you apply and how you perform on the day of the interview. But general trend is that work ex people get higher pay than freshers.
