U stand a chance accordiing to cmat score and all but i wud suggest to think again as ur btech percentage is very low and in campus selection most of the good companies require 60 and above

I wud suggest to retake mat bcoz cutoff goes a min of 95 and above soother things wont really matter

Since the cut offs vary every year by the number of application we receive, so u can give a try u will surely get call for gd/pi but further selection depends on u r performance and acads, all the best

Dear Vikram,
The cut-off percentile varies for each category. Hence, it depends on the category you belong to. Below were the cut-off percentiles of last year's admission. General - 98.54 SC - 78.71 ST - 60.57 OBC - 90.60 PH1 - 67.54 PH2 - 17.50 PH3 - 83.89 CW1 - 10.34 CW2 - 23.02 CW3 - 9.00 CW4 - 3.93 CW5 - 78.45

Dear Ravi,
Academic scores and work experience don't have weightages at FMS. The selection criterion is purely based on CAT score, extempore speech and Personal Interview.

Dear Bhagwat, JBIMS doesn't accept CMAT scores for admission. You may have an outside chance as the cutoff was around 92 percentile last year.

Whether you want to consider this college or no is left to you. All I can say is that the learning experience and curriculum here at SDMIMD is comparable to any of the premium B schools in India. SDMIMD is also about to get an International accreditation soon which will put SDMIMD on the global map. People with good GPA get placed without any glitches, people with poor GPA are obviously not placed. Average package for 2015 was 5.8 LPA and in 2016 it is considerably more than the previous year,the figures will be revealed in the placement report.
