SRM University Sonepat considers CAT scores for admission in MBA. Aspirants with MAT, XAT, NMAT or any other Management entrance exam score can also get admission. Candidates can also appear for SRMHCAT conducted by the university.

MAT is overall an easy exam, but if you compare the sections, usually the Quantitative Aptitude is considered tougher than rest of the four sections, due to calculation intensive questions.

All the MAT sections have same weightage, i.e. 30 questions and 30 marks. So candidates must keep in mind to prepare each section properly and poor performance in one section can affect overall score.

CAT is one of the accepting exams for admission in PGDM at Badruka School of Management. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with a score in XAT, MAT or GMAT can also get admission provided they also meet the other criteria.

Yes, 6 months is enough to prepare for CMAT exam. Make a plan in the following manner:
First 3 months | Cover syllabus |
Next 2 months | Practice mock tests |
Last 1 month | Revision and more mock test |

All the five sections of CMAT have equal weightage of 20 questions and 80 marks. Candidates must prepare keeping in mind, scoring a minimum of 50 in every section is important for a decent score.
