CAT is one of the accepting exams for CUSAT MBA admission. There are two types of CAT accepted for MBA. One is CAT conducted by conducted by IIM for admission to MBA programme. The other is CUSAT CAT conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology. CUSAT CAT is accepted for MBA and other courses except PhD and Diploma programmes. Now the question is, if it is mandatory or not.
No, it is not. Aspirants who have passed KMAT or CMAT can also take admission to MBA programme. Aspirants shortlisted based on the entrance exam score are further evaluated in group discussion and personal interview round.

MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is not compulsory for MBA at MSRUAS (M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences). However, candidates must have a valid score in the RUAS AT (Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences Aptitude Test) for admission into the MBA program. The MAT scores are required for 20 seats in MBA courses in different streams such as MBA Finance.The admission process for MSRUAS MBA programme involves the following steps:

Yes, MSRUAS accepts MAT (Management Aptitude Test) scores for admission to its MBA program. Candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the RUAS AT, provided that they meet all other eligibility criteria. CAT/MAT/CLAT/SLAT/JEE MAINS scores will be considered for the corresponding respective courses.

Students with a Common Admission Test percentile in the range of 60 to 70 can still be eligible for admission to certain Master of Business Administration colleges, including Hierank Business School.
