MBA Entrance Exam

The Master of Buisness Administration (MBA) is a PG course persued by students interested in Business and Management. 

To get admission in MBA, you must have an undergraduate degree first. 

After that, You can apply for National level Entrance Examinations like CAT, GMAT, SAT etc. CAT and GMAT being widely accepted by almost all colleges and universities. 

To get admission in the top colleges and universities for MBA requires a minimum of 90 percentile in CAT, and 95-99 Percentile for top IIMs .

In addition to these, prior work internships, Undergraduate degree scores and other factors also play an important role in selection for MBA.

The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) offers a full time two year (4 semesters) MBA program. It offers MBA in 5 specializations namely Human Resources Management, Marketing Management, Systems Management, Finance, and Operation Management.

And, admission to MBA is open to all Indian Nationals. The institute accepts valid scores of CAT/MAT/XAT. Otherwise, candidates can appear for the NEPGET to qualify for admissions. so, basically yes, it accepts MAT score.

Other than that its eligibilty crieteria is that the student should have a bachelor's degree in UGC or AICTE accredited disciplines/courses, with 55% marks in total and 50% for the category of SC/ST.

Students can also give NEPGET for admission in it and they can apply through the official website and after that selected students are  called further for group discussion and personal interview based on marks obtained in NEPGET or scores obtained in CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT.

Yes, the syllabus for CMAT and HPU MAT is same. Candidates preparing for CMAT will require revision during the HPU MAT exam. As per HPU MAT exam pattern, the question paper is divided into following sections viz., General knowledge, English language skills, Reasoning and numerical skills and Business environment awareness. Similarly, CMAT question paper is divided into the following sections  viz., Quantitative Techniques & Data interpretation, Logical reasoning, Language comprehension, General awareness, Innovation and entrepreneurship. Both HPU MAT and CMAT does not have sectional time limit. The number of questions vary in both the exams however te difficulty level of both exams is moderate to easy.
