CMAT Entrance Examination is believed to be easier than CAT and other entrance examination for students wanting to pursue Business and management programs.

Reasons for the same being the difficulty level of questions in both the examination, Former consists of questions with Easy to Moderate level of questions, while the latter has Moderate to Difficult level of questions. Other reasons include, the time limitation, CMAT has no sectional boundry, giving the candidates no stress about finishing a particular section first or on time. Yes, Syllabus for both, CAT and CMAT are similar for three sections i.e. Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, RC, Verbal and Logical Reasoning. However, CMAT Examination has two extra sections which are General Awareness, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. 

Candidates are advised to prepare for common topics and sections first, and then proceed to CMAT exclusive section.

Yes, you can get into Institute of Business Management, GLA University with 86%ile in CAT. The admission process is followed by multiple rounds of counselling for allocation of seats. Other than competitive exams' scores, the eligibility criteria for all MBA courses at Institute of Business Management, GLA University is to have passed graduation with a minimum percentage of 60% and 10+2 with 50%. There is no centralised process of counselling on national level for CMAT Entrance Examination.

CMAT is a national level entrance examination for students wanting to pursue Management Programs. The conducting body for the examination is National Testing Agency ( NTA).

After the examination, NTA no longer participates in the counselling process, counselling is in hands of the respective educational institutes who offer Masters programs to the students.

Since the MAH CET no longer follows a predetermined pattern for sectional weighting, it is difficult to say that. For the past two years, there have been different questions in each exam part for every position. Though the sectional weighting varies, there are still 200 questions total across all positions.
