Post Graduate Diploma Course Business Administration requires a valid score of CAT/GMAT/GRE, but in case if the candidates don’t possess any of these scores, he/she can appear for the Institution Entrance Test known as Indian Institute of Management Test. The test is conducted by University online, so it can be taken from anywhere within the convenient of the candidate. A valid score from the IIMU test will be considered instead of CAT/GMAT/GRE score.

No, CAT is not mandatory for admission to PhD/FPM in IIM Lucknow. It is one of the accepted examinations. Indian Institute of Management Lucknow admit candidates to FPM course with a valid score of GATE/GRE/GMAT or JRF/SRF (UGC/CSIR/ICAR) exams. Further, apart from this, it is also necessary that each aspirant fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Candidates shortlisted based on exam score are also required to go through an interview round.

No, it is not mandatory, as individuals meeting the institute's specified criteria are excused from taking the exam. Additionally, the subsequent candidates are also exempted from participating in the IBSAT exam:
CAT with a percentile of 60 and above
GMAT with a score of 500 and above
NMAT by GMAC with a score of 150 and above
XAT with a score of 60 and above

Typically, Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, releases the MICAT exam dates and event schedule in the month of September. As per the event schedule trends, candidates are allowed to apply for the exam with the release of the exam details and event schedule. The official website of MICAT will host all details regarding the exam dates, and event schedule for registration, hall ticket download, result declaration, etc.

Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad, conducts the MICAT exam in two phases. Typically, the examination under first phase is conducted in the first week of December. Whereas, the second phase exam is conducted in the last week of January. Candidates can find the MICAT exam dates on the official website along with other exam details. Candidates can choose to apply for both or either of the exam phases for MICAT.
MICAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 7 for first phase, and January 25 for second phase.

No, MICAT exam is conducted on a predefined date by the Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad. Candidates do not get the facility to choose an exam date. However, candidates may choose to appear for any one of the exam phases for MICAT depending upon the MICAT schedule.
MICAT-1 and MICAT-2 will be conducted in the first week of December and the second week of february respectively. Candidates aspiring for second phase MICAT exam have to fill the registration form for the same.

No, MICA conducts a common exam for PGDM and PGDMC admissions. Candidates filling out the MICAT application form have to choose the priority of the course. Candidates have the choice to opt for the PGDM-C and/or PGDM programme. those who choose to opt for both the programme must mark the programme of their first preference as priority 1 and the other programme of second preference as priority 2. The allotment of seats will be made based on the number of seats, score of the candidate, GE-PI performance among other factors.

MICAT exam is conducted in two phases. Typically, the exam date for first exam phase lies in the first week of December. While the second phase of MICAT exam is held in the last week of January. The registration for both exam phases is done separately. Therefore, candidates are issued a separate admit card for both exam phases. Candidates completing the registration before the last date are issued the MICAT hall ticket online. The admit card download is hosted over the official exam website on distinct days.

Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, conducts MICAT twice in one admission cycle. Candidates can appear for both or either of the exam phases. MICA, Ahmedabad will consider best of two scores during the selection process. However, the MICAT scores are valid for one admission cycle only. Candidates who wish to get admission in PGDM batch 2026-28 must apply for MICAT 2026. The registration process starts on the official website.

Candidates need to appear for any of the national level the exams, among CAT, XAT or GMAT to participate in the MICA PGDM selection process. Admissions to MICA PGDM is based on shortlists prepared considering the MICAT scores, national level exam scores, GE and PI scores. Candidates filling the MICAT application form have to enter the scores of national level exam. However, if they are yet to appear for the exams, they can add the exam scores later. MICA provides the facility to add exam scores at later stage of the registration process.
