MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam that is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT, which can be taken by candidates from an exam center as well as at home. Yes, IBSAT mock tests have a time limit as of the actual exam. Mock tests are a simulation of the IBSAT exam. As soon as the student proceeds to take the IBSAT mock test, the timer will start on the top right side of the screen. The IBSAT mock test will be similar to the actual exam. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the software/hardware requirements and analyse their performance before the actual IBSAT exam. Candidates will be required to answer 140 MCQs within a time duration of two hours or 120 minutes. Timer for 120 minutes will start as soon as the candidate clicks the 'Start IBSAT Mock Test' button.

If students are found not obeying rules of examination or trying to practice unfair means, they will be disqualified from the examination. The system will find any kind of unusual movements and will notify the online proctor for:
- Focus changed to a different window
- Browser not supported
- Webcam is disabled
- Face is not visible in the camera
- Several faces in front of the camera
- Face does not match the profile
- Microphone muted or its volume is low

To appear for IBSAT online proctored examination, students must:
- Use latest version of any of browsers.
- Webcam and microphone must be working.
- Ad Blocker should be switched off.
- All applications that use a camera, microphone, and screen sharing must be disabled.
- Popup Blocker should be disabled.
- Take examination in a room with proper lighting and minimal background noise.
- Have exam taking system fully charged to last up to 3 hours.
