MBA Entrance Exam

For admission to MBA/PGDM programmes, the All India Management Association (AIMA) administers the Management Aptitude Test, also known as the MAT. Multiple times a year, the exam is given in four phases: February, May, September, and December. Candidates who meet the requirements may be admitted to more than 800 business schools that accept the MAT. The MAT exam is offered in three different formats: paper-based (PBT), computer-based (CBT), and remotely proctored (IBT). According to their preferences, candidates can select any mode in which to take the exam. All three exam formats share the same fees, exam format, and syllabus; however, the dates for admit card download and exams vary.
A management entrance exam is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, or MAH CET. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, administers the exam, which is officially known as MAH MBA/MS-CET, for admission to MBA programmes at various institutions in the state of Maharashtra. Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Reading Comprehension are all part of the MAH MBA CET exam syllabus. Following the MAH CET MBA, candidates will be assigned MBA seats in MAH CET participating colleges based on the results of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) or Counseling. Candidates can engage in MAH CET MBA counselling directly for admission to MAH CET member universities if they have valid results in the CAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT, or ATMA.
Both are competitive exams hence the difficulty doesn't matter but your rank does, however MAT is a little on the easier side while MH-CET has no negative marking and has colleges like JBIMS under its fold. Best of Luck!
