Your profile is really decent and deserved for IIMs. The admission in IIMs are based on percentile obtained in CAT management entrance exam. IIMs have also required individual sectional cutoff in QA, DILR and VARC along with the overall cutoff. The expected overall CAT cutoff of IIMs like Ahmadabad, Bangalore and Kolkata is 99 percentile, While the sectional cutoff is about 70 percentile respectively. Hence start your preparation accordingly.

Hi
In common Admission Test, it is the percentile that matters. It is all about your performance in the exam. It is a great way to assess your performance where your marks are not directly involved to select you in the next round. Thus depending on the difficulty level of the exam, candidate having a score of 100 can also get 99+ %ile or sometimes 200 marks are not enough to get the same percentile. Even if you are considering scores to measure or asses your performance, then it depends on a lot of factors. Hi,
The institute formulates their own cutoff, which changes every year depending upon the CAT and CMAT score. The last year cutoff for the exams is as follows:
CAT - 80 percentile and above
XAT - 94 percentile and above
CMAT - 94 percentile and above
Hope you will get the seat. Good luck.

I would suggest you to try for another college as many colleges accept 69 percentile. Many colleges have their own entrance test, as last year's cut off in NIA was around 75-80 and this year it would be from 70-75.
Here is the list of top MBA colleges apart from NIA:
1.ISBR Business school Bangalore
2.Acharya School of Business Bangalore
3.FIIB MBA Delhi
4.Alliance University MBA
5.Christ University MBA
6.Symbiosis MBA School
7.IFIM-Business School
8.ISBM Pune
9.ITM Navi Mumbai
10.ISME Bangalore

As you can see, the CMAT cut off for B-schools ranges from 45 percentile to 90+ percentile. As per as the scores are concerned, the cut-off score range from 160 to 285. Some B-schools also accept CMAT ranks as cut off. When the CMAT result is declared, the candidates can see his or her score and rank.
