Yes, you can give the CAT exam after completing the course. CAT is a highly competitive exam and you should be thoroughly prepared for the same because you need to secure a very good percentile in order to get a good college of the top ranking. Buy books online or at stores or join a coaching class which can help you sail through it and start preparing right away.

Hi
Last year, nearly 4000 seats in Iims (Indian Institute of Management) will be filled through CAT 2019 exams. CAT score is also used non-IIM institutes like FMS, SPJIM, MDI Gurgaon, etc. For selecting candidates. Read about the counselling procedure of the Common Admission Test, who will conduct CAT 2019 counselling, schedule, seat matrix, etc.
Good luck!

Hi
Ideally, CAT preparation takes around 300 hours to 500 hours of serious preparation. While there is no right time to start preparing for the CAT Exam, it is recommended that a CAT aspirant should start the preparation sometime between Jan-Feb and June-July of the year he or she is planning to appear for CAT.
