You need to clear CAT or MAT exam to get admission in Panjab University. Also, Panjab University conducts its own exam for admission in UIAMS department. You can take admission this year or next year for this you need to check university website http://puchd.ac.in/ for details of examination and admissions also for eligibility criteria.

The minimum percentile is dependent on the category one belongs to. The first shortlisting is done roughly on the basis of category for all the students. The academic diversity helps one while calculating the composite score at the end of second round. The composite score is calculated for everyone with extra points for non engineering students. For IIM Lucknow, 5 point weight is given for non engineers this year and for Amritsar, Kashipur and Sirmaur, it is somewhat similar. The fee structure is subjected to change every year. For TANCET it is 4.2 Lacs for both years in academic year 2018. Please kindly contact the administration department of PSGIM to get more details.

CAT exam is having three sections reasoning, quantitative, English if you are poor at maths, then do as much as in both subjects, and for Maths do lot of practice. You will definitely get confidence, firstly do basic chapter from NCERT book of math question from class 6th to class 10th, and then do from RS Agarwal quantitative, you only get the difference for your level.
