I have tried to present a list of the general requirements for admission to the top Human Resources PGDM programs in India:

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree in any discipline from an accredited university or other organisation with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%.
  • Scores from national admission tests like the CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT,  and others are taken into consideration by several MBA colleges in India that offer PGDM in Human Resources. Candidates must achieve the minimum standards specified by the aforementioned colleges.

Hope it helps!

A PGDM in HR dives further into human capital management, whereas a normal PGDM offers a more comprehensive view of company processes. It focuses on particular HR subjects, theories, and procedures that are necessary for efficient personnel management and corporate culture.

MBA refers to a management degree issued by a University and PGDM refers to Post Graduate Diploma in Management offered by a private college, institute or university, affiliated to AICTE. The course curriculum, pedagogy, teaching methods, etc. are same for both courses. Even the market value is almost same for both.
