NMAT stands for NMIMS Management Aptitude Test, and this is a highly sought-after entrance exam that NMIMS and other institutions have developed. The exam sections will be Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. The exams usually occur in a time window, and students may select the preferred date.

The selection process at IIM Bangalore for an MBA programme is multi-step. First, candidates have to appear for the CAT exam. The first shortlisting is done based on the CAT score, academic background, and work experience. After shortlisting, candidates are called for a Personal Interview and Written Ability Test. The final shortlist will be based on a composite score that will consider the CAT score, previous academic records, work experience, PI, WAT, and other criteria. However, the minimum required CAT percentile for IIM Bangalore keeps changing every year, but in general, it stays between 95-98 percent.

It would depend on your goals and preferences, but Iowa State University, USA, and Great Lakes Institute of Management, India, are two different options for an MBA. Iowa State University offers a very globally recognised MBA programme and international job opportunities, exposure to global business practices, and diversification in the student body.
