Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) IN Katra, Jammu Kashmir, India has not such good placement but it has decnt placement record .The placement cell helps to find job and internship.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA programme at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) for the academic year 2024-25 are as follows:

Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.

A valid score in CAT/ MAT/CMAT shall be given preference.

Candidates who have obtained a qualified score in GATE/ UGC - NET/ JRF/ SLET, are exempted from appearing in the entrance test conducted by the University.

The MBA course at IIRM covers the topics like Finance and accounting, Management control, marketing and insurance and risk management etc. The MBA course is for two years. For each year the hostel fees was 50,000  to 1 Lacs and the mess fees is 50,000. The course fees was around 9 Lacs for two years. The total expenses for the two years is around 12 to 15 lakhs.

The minimun package for a MBA student is 7 LPA and the highest package is 21 LPA. The companies that recruit the graduates in IIRM are Marsh, optum, Pwc, Realiance, Sapiens, Tata, Tvs credit, Unison and so on. I think  pursuing MBA at IIRM is worthful if you are really intrested. 

Placements of the MBA students at the Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education speak high about the strong connections of the university with the industry and its commitment to train the students for a successful career. Job security may be achieved for the top performers, but students should not rely only on the university resources especially the career services to increase their competence level. The ratings indicate a positive trend, however students individual outcomes depend on factors such as specialization, academic performance, and tapping opportunities during the MBA. 

The highest salary package for MBA is 30 LPA at Kalasalingam university which is a very good package according to me . The fee range for both the years is less than 2 Lakhs and the average salary is 5 LPA .So there is a great benefit on the side of the students.

Applicants must qualify for an entrance test like CAT/MAT/XAT/GATE.

Students will be shortlisted based on their entrance exam score.

Students will have to face an interview and participate in a group discussion activity.

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission is a graduation in any discipline with 50% marks or in the Honours subject in the bachelor's degree. For B.tech it is class 12th with 45 percent in PCM.

After the interview and group discussion, final selection will be made considering the overall performance and academic background of the candidates.

Applicants with relevant work experience may be given preference during the selection process.
