According to the information available, MAT scores are required for only 20 seats in MBA courses in different streams such as MBA Finance or MBA Banking. However, all the IIMs, including CAIIHM, take their admission based on CAT (Common Admission Test). Although it is not required, MAT results are recognized as one of the selection criteria for the GNIOT MBA program, along with those from the CAT, XAT, GMAT, and CMAT. A legitimate MAT score is not required, though, as it is only necessary for 20 seats in MBA programs across a variety of tracks, including MBA Finance. Thus, MAT is not mandatorily required for admission to MBA at GNIOT as it accepts other entrance exams as well.

If you are a general candidate, the college needs at least 50% marks in your graduation. But if you belong to SC or ST category, you need 45% to get admission. Also, you need to appear in the entrance exam like MAT, CAT, PGCET or CMAT and score well to get a seat in that institution.
