For general category students, the expected CAT cutoff is 50-55 percentile for various MBA specializations. Yes, PGDM is equivalent to MBA degree. PGDM institutes are authorised by AICTE whereas, the MBA institutes are authorised by UGC and AICTE. MBA programmes place a greater emphasis on the university's curriculum and have no changes in years, while the PGDM programme lays emphasis on contemporary industrial demands and requirements.

Yes, MBA at Lingaya's Vidyapeeth is a better option than Satya group of Institutions. This can be justified by seeing the ranking of both the Institutes. Lingaya's Vidyapeeth is a better ranked Institute and was ranked #4 in Haryana. The placement packages of Lingaya's Institute are also better than Satya group of institutions. At Lingaya's Vidyapeeth the highest package offered was around 16LPA and 3.5 was the average. While at Satya group of institutions the median package offered is 2.5 LPA.
