MBA at Tezpur University has four semester comprising of 25 courses which is due for two years. The course covers some core sujects such as
- Management Fundamentals
- Research Methods in Business
- Operation Research/ Supply Chain Management
- Entrepreneurship Development Programme
The cousre are specially designed for students to:
- Develop strong foundation of theoretical knowledge of business managementand ability to apply the same in actual business situation.
- Develop critical thinking.

Students from 7th sem become eligible for placements. Companies such as tata, tisco, tcs etc., come for placements and take the students in bulk. The highest package offered was INR 18 LPA and average is INR 5 lpa. Almost 75 to 80 percentage of students get placement.

No, MBA is not free at Tezpur University. Candidates must pay a certain amount as a tuition fee for pursuing MBA. The MBA tuition fee is around INR 24,000 - INR 69,800.

No, admission in the MBA course at Tezpur University without an entrance exam is not possible. Candidates must have a valid score in any one of the exams : CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ CMAT for admssion. Also candidates must have a bachelor' degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian or foreign university/institution (foreign degree must have UGC approval) with a minimum of 50% aggregate (or equivalent grade).

Tezpur University offers two years MBA programme at PG level. Candidates are alloted with the MBA seats once they complete the Tezpur Uniersity's admission process. Find below seat distribution of MBA:
