No, candidates who have qualified CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT/ IEMCET need to appear for GDPI round. Candidates who have qualified CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT with at least 85 percentile can appear directly for GDPI round. However, candidates with score less than 85 percentile, need to first appear for the UEM Entrance Test followed by a GDPI round. A pass in graduation with at least 60% aggregate & above in Science/ Management (70% aggregate & above for Engineering) is required to apply for MBA and part-time MBA course. Also, candidates must secure at least 70% aggregate & above in Class 10 and 65% aggregate in Class 12 to apply for MBA and part-time M

PGDM is the flagship course offered by IMI Kolkata equivalent to MBA covers two years. The PGDM course curriculum covers courses such as  Simulation-based Courses, Negotiation Skills, Analytics, Entrepreneurship and New Venture Development, etc. The course is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) with effect from 2016. The programme is also internationally accreditation by AMBA. Yes, UEM Kolkata offers a two-year full-time MBA course divided into four semesters. The university also offers part-time MBA course in eight specialisations. UEM Kolkata offers MBA in eight specialisations, namely Finance, Marketing, Retail Management, Digital Marketing Management, Event Management, Supply Chain & Logistics Management, System Management and Human Resource Management. Those who have a bachelor's or equivalent degree, with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible for IMI Kolkata Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)  programme. At least 3 years of bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, class 10 and class 12 school education is a must. Those who are appearing in the final year of their bachelor's degree are also eligible, provided they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria. Also, candidates must have a relevant work experience.
