Admission to the PGDM course is based on entrance test scores such as MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, MHT CET, MAH CET, and others followed by online group discussions and Personal Interview rounds. N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research also considers the past academic records, work experience, and extracurricular activities of the candidates. Candidates must prepare for the selection round in advance as the selection round is very tough and there is tough competition.

N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research accepts the score of MAT XAT CAT CMAT ATMA MHT CET MAH CET and others. There is no change in the exam pattern or marking scheme. The fee for PGDM/MBA at NL Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research is INR 14.7 Lacs. It may vary according to the specialisation selected by the student. If the student finds the fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships offered by NL Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research. If students are applying through the CMAT, they must score well in CMAT. Candidates must study the CMAT books properly and attempt as many CMAT mock tests as possible.

At the postgraduate level, N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research offers two-year PGDM courses to students in various specialisation. The eligibility criteria for the postgraduate courses is a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% to 55 % aggregate. The accepted entrance exams are MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, MHT CET, MAH CET, and others. MAT 2023 exam for the May phase will be conducted in PBT, CBT, and IBT modes. So prepare in advance as the competition is very high.
