There are different ways of admission. Iims offer admission on basis of CAT other institutions like Lovely University, Amity, XLRI, etc. Offer admission on the basis of CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT as well as their own tests. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements that they offer. Some even offer good scholarships.

MBA is a professional programme, you must evaluate he colleges/university on following parameters before taking a plunge:Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since management is a highly dynamic field, you can't afford a programme which is stuck in obsolete theories and syllabi. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more the practical, better it is.

The placement is good, but it totally depends on your academic performance.

I think, to pursue MBA in India is the best option because we have lot of best B-schools, which gives us enough scope for growth and strengthen our position. To get admission in the above mentioned colleges, you have to go through a series of exams like CAT XAT IIFT CMAT NMAT or SNAP and also an excellent percentile, then you will receive calls for the second process, I. e. What/ GD/ PI and if you are able to impress them, then you are in. Best of luck.

The placements for MBA will depend on the college in which one is studying his Masters education, if you are studying in a good college obviously your placements will be good with a excellent package. Or else you may be doing the job with a less salary after your education. The College in Ahmedabad in which I studied
Victoria university is really good for international opportunities.

Following the success of IPM programs at IIMs, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has also joined the IIMs in launching the 5 year IPM program.
From the academic session 2022-23, IIFT has launched 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at its new Kakinada campus in Andhra Pradesh.
This makes IIFT another top management institute to enter the undergraduate management education segment.

To get into Galgotia university you need to give entrance exam like MAT/CAT. For management quota you need to contact the college as fees is on the higher side and of course, it's not the best way.

A score of around 90 percentile should definitely invoke a call provided academics are good (above 85% throughout). A background in agriculture/allied sector would give a slight advantage over other candidates provided one meets other requirements. However over the past few years there have been almost an equal strength of non-agri background students. Ideally if other conditions met, percentile should not fall below 85. Even if it fetches 80, there would be low chances of conversion, unless one is exceptionally good. So a percentile of 90 or above is a safe one.
