During PGP summer placements 2023-25, Sales and Marketing emerged as the most preferred domain with 46% of offers attracted. The second domain attracting a good percentage of offers was Consulting and Strategy. As per the records, 141 companies participated in the 2024-25 PGP placements. This included 54 new recruiters. Earlier, 87 companies were part of PGP placements 2024 and 46 new recruiters were witnessed. Looking at the past three years' data, an increasing trend was observed in the number of recruiters and first-time recruiters. To know the exact numbers refer to the below table:

The IIM Shillong highest package offered during the 2025 PGP placements was in the IT and Analytics domain. This was followed by the Consulting & Strategy domain with the highest package of INR 46.87 LPA. The highest package offered during IIM Shillong placements 2025 for the PGP batch stood at INR 71.50 LPA. Since last year the highest package has remained constant. From 2023 to 2025, an improving trend was observed in IIM Shillong highest package for PGP, which is presented below:
