Simply put, Masters in Business Administration or MBA is a degree course offered by the Universities (both Government and Private) and Colleges affiliated to these Universities. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a Diploma programme offered by B-schools/Colleges that are recognised by Government of India's nodal body for technical education - All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The placement cell is more active today than it was ever before. Funds have been raised for the placement cell last year and many opportunities are being provided today with more people contributing every day. The college is providing better placements to students and improving the facilities.

If you want to take MBA in Business Analytics, I would recommend you to join some premier institutions like IIM or IITs or at least NITs. In Karnataka, you can apply for MBA program offered in NITK Surathkal Mangalore. You can choose Analytics as your specialisation. Even fees also less compared to any other MBA program also NITK is a brand. If you have valid CAT or CMAT or GMAT Score you can apply for the program. The placements of IBS, Hyderabad are pretty good. All good companies for marketing, finance and HR come to the campus for placements.
Any kind of work experience is obviously an added advantage.
