We have experienced faculty members for finance and the current PGDM batch of 2016-18 has a majority of finance students, so that speaks volumes about the faculty, as the faculty is more or less similar for both MMS and PGDM.

If you score very high (e.g. 98 percentile and above in CAT) in MBA entrance exams, you stand a high probability of getting admission in top B-School for MBA. If you do well in MBA you will definitely get good placement based on your profile.
All the best.

Sinhgad has very average placements to be frank and has not been great brand to pursue MBA PGDM, you can rather try top 50 B-Schools for best placements opportunities.

You may not face any challenges in getting a good job if you score well in MBA and are able to logically explain your gap years reasons in HR round of campus placement. Most of the HR executives condone gap years if a candidate is suitable for their organisation.

I would request you to take CAT exam as you have 2 years of work experience and you can get an edge during the placements if you get admission in a college through CAT or you can choose an executive MBA programme to take the advantage of your work experience then also you need the CAT score. In core finance job profile (investment banker, derivative, credit analyst and market research) corporate demand 55-60% in graduation but as you have a work experience this restriction can be redeemed in your
