Hello Rahul,
Christ University placed 60 students in the year of inception and the number has gone over 700 last year. They have 150 organisations from different sector namely IT, BFSI, Consulting, FMCG, Healthcare, Automobile, Real estate, Hospitality, etc. It has the highest compensation this year (11.5 LPA) and the average salary package was 6LPA. At least 70% of the companies which come for the campus placement have recruited from them in the past which also talks about the quality of their students and every year there are about 25% new organisations.

Both the cities are good. You can choose:
1. BIMM – Pune.
2. Flame – Pune.
3. Symbiosis – Pune.
4. IBS – Hyderabad.
5. ISB – Hyderabad.

The college officials have posted the names of recruiters coming for the placements at Haldia, but not the average package offered. So, you need to contact the college's placement cell for the same.

If you have selected IT then THE best option is to select either Marketing or HR because both the streams require IT skills to operate software like HRIS, Digital Marketing, SEO or SMO. More options are available with Marketing. Finance also play a role in this as it makes use of SAP, Tally and other software. Best options are marketing and finance.

Engineers are employed in both finance and marketing jobs after completing MBA. MBA in finance is a good option, if you are good in numbers crunching and also ready to seek other professional qualifications such as CFA, etc.
If you are an extrovert and have good communication skills, then you can opt for marketing. The opportunities for marketing professionals are more in comparison to finance professionals.

Universal Business School is a decent B-school with good placements. But, I would suggest you to look for other better options because the college was started in 2009. So, you can't easily get the genuine reviews about the college.
In terms of placement, MBA + PGDM would be better because in that way you can have an edge over others of knowing few more courses, which you'll be studying in an additional general MBA course.

The logistics sector in India has today become a key performance indicator of the economy. According to the World Banks Logistic Performance Index (LPI), India is ranked 39th place among 150 countries of the world. In the years to come, the Indian economy will be driven by sectors like manufacturing and retail. So, for these sectors to contribute effectively to the economy, the logistics industry in India has a good scope and various opportunities.

As I am not from EMRC department, so I have no information regarding it.
