Right now, the placement scenario overall is not great. Due to the economic issues. Check out the reviews from alumni and present students of the college

On graduation level, both are equally good. If you have an interest in the financial market, stock trading and in future further like to go for investment banking or any other specialised financial market course then you may opt for B.Com with financial market. But if in future you like to go for MBA then B.Com with business administration is a good option.

Hi,
PGDM is equivalent to an MBA and is a professional course that provides ample opportunities for placement after the course completion. There are many colleges offering good placement opportunities wherein the average package starts with 7 lacs and the highest goes up to 18 lacs and more also. Go ahead and choose the best college that fits you.

Placements aren't good in comparison of fee of MBA, I'm providing you link over where you can have a look at placement figures. But, from my point of view, it's not value for money.

IES MCRC has a full-fledged placement cell and our placement track records are good. Many good companies do visit IES MCRC with good profiles. Specifically, if you are asking about finance, all I would like to say is students get opportunities in banks, equity research companies, asset management companies, derivatives, research consultants, advisories, etc.

It depends on your ambition, I mean where you want to see yourself after the completion of the course. If you are more towards banking, insurance accountancy or finance related in terms of interest, then Finance can be good choice. But if you are more interested in aspects related to market and market scenario as well as about market segments and you have ideas aggressive enough to please a customer, then Marketing is not a bad choice.
