Eligibility criteria for appearing in XAT to seek admission in XLRI is a recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline. Those students who are completing their final examination by June in the year of start of MBA degree at XLRI are also eligible to appear for XAT.

The cutoff varies according to category like general, SC, ST, OBC, etc. and is around average 86 for general category.
Placements are decent with oil, gas, metals and mining companies coming to campus with average 5-7 lac salary.

Listening to your situation and experience, if you go to Dubai or any other gulf country now, you would get salary more than you are getting now i.e. if you're getting Rs.20,000, so there you'll get up to Rs.4 to Rs.45,000 and living expenses are also negotiable.
