SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre is a well-known institution that offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in the field of medicine and health sciences. SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Center does not offer any campus placements for MBBS students. However, the college offers MBBS students. During this one-year internship, students get placed in different departments. After completing their internships, students can apply for a hospital, open their own clinics, or pursue MD degrees.

Placement is good in the own hospital for anyone after completing Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Almost 99 percent of the students from Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course got placed at different places. There are mostly no recruiting companies, but students have to go to prestigious organisations on their own to apply for jobs. The highest salary package was offered to a graduate, which can be around INR 18 Lakh Per Annum.

The college has not released 2023 or 2024 placement data as of now. The most recent statistics available are for the 2022 drive. Out of 248 MBBS students, 175 were placed during 2022 placements. This makes the placement rate 71%. In 2021, 108 out of 150 MBBS students were placed.
