Admission to an MBBS programme in a government medical college in India is extremely unlikely given the general category and an All India Rank (AIR) of 87218. Because there are fewer seats available and entrance exams are competitive government colleges usually have much higher cut-off ranks. Yes, it is possible to find work as an MBBS graduate without undertaking a postgraduate (PG) pathway.

No Radiology and MBBS are different but are from medical field only, and they also differ on basis of educational requirements, scope of practice and focus.

The chances of getting a government MBBS seat in India, in the general category, are almost negligible with an AIR of 27791.
Government MBBS seats are pretty difficult to get, more so for the general category. Government medical colleges' cut-offs do vary from a huge extent depending upon:
State: Cut-offs differ from one state to another.
College: Highly eminent government medical colleges have very high cut-offs.
Category: Reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, etc. have lower cut-offs for candidates.
