Yes, MBBS and being a doctor is extremely stressful. Medicine as a course comes with a heavy burden of academic pressure, lengthy hours of studies, and arduous exams. Then beyond that comes work long and irregular work hours, a heavy burden of responsibility and the emotional burden of caring for your patients once you become a doctor. Failing MBBS first-year exams can be hard, but it does not end your medical career. Most colleges give supplementary exams so you can pass subjects you failed.

You can move to second-year exams only if you pass any failed first-year subject before taking second-year exam.

• Entry-Level: INR 3 - 6 LPA
• Mid-Level: INR 6 - 12 LPA
• Senior-Level: 12 - 25 LPA

The course of MBBS is awarded as a professional undergraduate degree in the surgical and medical fields by medical colleges and universities. Two different degrees, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, have been combined into one discipline to be practised simultaneously.
The MBBS course lasts for five to six years, including an internship. By the historical terminology of degrees, they are two dissociated undergraduate degrees.
In practice, they are generally merged and conferred as one, and they may also be awarded at graduate-level medical institutions.

To be eligible to apply for NEET UG and for admission into MBBS programs, candidates must be at least 17 years of age. The upper age limit for NEET UG can be changed by the conducting body from year to year, as part of changing eligibility criteria. Getting into MBBS can be hard, but it is possible. Last year, lowest NEET score for General category was 137.
