The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna other than the General category are - 2362 for OBC, 35999 for SC, 112416 for ST, 2151 for EWS, 286278 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 1461 and closing rank was 2737. The cutoffs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained 50 percent taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40 percent instead of 50percent. The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences And Research, New Delhi has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 10015. In 2022, it increased to 47464.

For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was 47464 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences And Research, New Delhi.
