The cutoff trend for Medical courses at Grant Medical College has seen an increase in the recent few years. In 2021, the closing rank for Medical courses under General category for all India quota was 649. In 2022, it increased to 10,696. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1242 to 13978 for OBC, 8953 to 48971 for SC, 16903 to 195654 for ST, 1283 to 8454 for EWS, and 57359 to 391376 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Medical education in India continues to grow.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU other than General category are - 1679 for OBC, 56587 for SC, 96058 for ST, 1442 for EWS, and 72502 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 866 and closing rank was 2735. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2022, the cutoff was 2735 for the General category candidates in the All India quota for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU. AIIMS Jodhpur MBBS cutoff 2023 for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was 1086 for OBC category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET UG, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
