I think it is not dependent on your rank. It depends on your score of JEE Mains. As you got 42000 rank, so you got almost 80 to 100 marks. But with these marks, you cannot get CSE in general category. If you are an SC or ST category student, then you have a chance. But you can try for other lower rank courses here.
