General Eligibility for MCA After B.Com

Most universities require:

  • A bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
  • Mathematics as a subject in:
    • 10+2 level, or
    • graduation level.

So, if you completed B.Com and had Mathematics in Class 12, you are usually eligible for MCA admission in many universities.

If You Did Not Study Mathematics

Some universities:

  • offer bridge/foundation mathematics courses,
  • allow admission with additional qualifying subjects,
  • or provide relaxed eligibility criteria in online/distance modes.

However, some institutions may not allow direct admission without Mathematics.
