Master of computer Applications (MCA) admission at Institute of Engineering and Technology AKTU is offered to the students on the basis of merit of the qualifying exam.
AKTU MCA fees is 64775 INR (yearly) for two years.
The eligibility criteria for opting for MCA degree in AKTU is as follows:
- Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Candidates have studied Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level or during graduation.
- Candidates should have a valid score in the UPSEE entrance exam which is conducted by AKTU or any other equivalent national level entrance exam.

For admission to first year of MCA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of 03 Years minimum duration from any recognised Indian University; or its equivalent, recognised by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.

For admission to the MCA programme at GITAM Institute, candidate must have passed in any degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and Mathematics/Statistics at +2 level or degree level or equivalent examination. Apart from this, candidates need to clear any of the APICET, or GITAM GAT entrance test . Graduation final year students may also apply on a provisional basis.

The eligibility criteria for the MCA programme at Central University of Himachal Pradesh is having a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (IT) or BA (Computer Science) or BA (IT) with a minimum aggregate score of 50% or its equivalent.

KLE Society's Nijalingappa College's MCA programme does not include direct admission choices without passing the PGCET exam. The college adheres to the MCA admissions rules established by the Karnataka Examination Authority. So no you can not get direct admission in the college without taking the entrance exam of the college.
