Admission to Sharda University is entrance-based. The university selects students who pass graduation with a 50% aggregate with BCA/ BSc in Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Apart from this, a valid score of SUAT entrance exam is mandatory for admission to MCA at Sharda University. The final step of the selection process is to clear the PI round conducted at the university.

AIMS Institutes admission to MCA programme is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates need to pass Bachelor (3 years)/ master degree examination of any recognised education body in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates) or should have secured at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates) in Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Statistics/ Computer Applications/ Electronics as a subject in Class 12 or at degree level to apply for MCA programme. The institute might conduct a personal interview round for selection.
