Almost all IITs allow students to do their Ph.D. of course there will be some criteria for selection. I suggest you approach any IIT and seek help. They will be more than willing to help you.
Best wishes.

Moreover, the package that you will be offered even if you get placed would be nowhere near the package that you would expect being a post-graduate.
MCA and BCA students sit in the same placement drive at same packages.

There used to be only one college which provided the MCA (LE) course. Till last year, it was MERI Janakpuri with 60 seats in total, but there are rumors that IP University is going to introduce one more college, which will be providing MCA LE, but the university hasn't decided it yet. According to the admin, it is better to wait for the counselling.

The sanctioned intake in MCA Lateral Entry is 60. You must have a degree of BCA/BIT/BIS/B.Sc (Computer Science) from recognized university or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technology with minimum 55% marks. You will get good college with this rank. You have to wait for counselling.
Best of luck.
