Unfortunately, your MCA CET percentile is a bit on the lower side. You might have to reappear for the CET exam to be eligible for top MCA colleges. There are over 1117 MCA colleges in India. Please refer to the link provided below for details regarding a list of these colleges. You should be able to navigate to a college of your choice using the filters on the web page. The usual MCA is of 3 years I. e it is designed in such a manner that a guy with a non-CS background can be taught skills with good computer programming skills post completion. But in case of MCA lateral entry it is already taken into consideration that the student has at least some basic & rudimentary knowledge of CS I. e it is meant for those students who have completed BCA or B.Sc. CS in their UG. Moreover MCA lateral entry is a 2 year course as compared to the former one which is a 3 year course
These are the main differences that exist. After completing these two you have same value of degree. Regards.

Hi,
You need to do first of all BCA (graduation degree) then only you can go for MCA (post graduation)
The general eligibility criteria to be eligible for applying for BCA course you must have completed your Higher Secondary (+2) Examination or equivalent(diploma degree), with minimum 50% marks in total and also having Mathematics as subject in the qualifying examination.
