At MCC, the highest package offered for M.Sc. in Chemistry has reached nearly INR 9.5 lakhs per annum. The college is known to have a good record of placements so far and some of the reputed companies take part in the placement drives conducted by the college. On average, the students receiving offers in the department of M.Sc. Chemistry are approximately around INR 5-6 lakhs per annum.

It is true that CUET is a must criterion for admission into the B. Com. programme at Madras Christian College, MCC. It has accepted CUET scores as part of its admission process to eliminate inequality in the selection process. Students wanting to join the B. Com. program have to appear for the CUET and score pertinent to the selection for the program.

Direct entry into MCC's MCA program generally is not offered. TANCET performance is considered highly as a basis for admission. However, on the basis of an outstanding academic performance record, candidates with valid scores in TANCET or qualifying undergraduate degrees could be considered for admission.
