For admission to the MDU BTech course, candidates have to fill out the online application form. Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the form. The admission is based on the JEE-Main entrance exam score and HSTES counselling session. Hence, candidates have to apply for JEE main and separately for MDU to take admission through HSTES counselling.

The University offers a two-year MSc course in 12 specialisations. The eligibility criteria and fees for each MSc specialisation vary. Maharshi Dayanand University offers admisison to the MPharm course on the basis of GPAT scores. The University has released the provisional merit list for admission to MPharm programme. As per the merit list, MDU Rohtak GPAT cutoff 2023 ranged between 96.24 and 99 for the MPharm course.
