The National Eligibility and Entrance Test NEET UG) is conducted for admission to MBBS courses in many government and private colleges. Aspirants seeking admission in government colleges for MBBS usually need to score more than 350 for the ST category, whereas for private colleges, 250+ marks are sufficient. Since you have not mentioned your home state, it is difficult to accurately predict college as the MBBS cut-off differs for state quota and all-India quota. Hiii shivangii. Congrats for your rank in NEET. 79 is really a good score. And for admission of B.Sc. Nursing your NEET score won't count. If you have a decent score in 12 th then you will get the best colleges. The minimum qualification for this group is 50% mandatory. You need to have Science as a mandatory subject. And coming about government seat cut-off marks for the general category it is 55 and SC, ST category 30-40 and OBC is 45-50. So I think there would be a chance to get government seat and basically, NEET is not mandatory for admission of B.Sc. Nursing but anyways you can still try for it. Hope this information helps you.

Your college couldn't be predicted according to your marks so it's recommended that you could take a drop year and prepare well for the next year and get better marks for better college or if it's possible, you can go for other courses also.

It's difficult to get admission in a government college with your rank. You should participate in the counselling though.

NEET is the entrance examination for admission to Medical, Dental, AYUSH and Veterinary Courses across India. It is not for Pharma. D. Admissions for this course depend on the University/Institution that you want to join. Few Institutions conduct admissions based on merit in the highest qualification while few Institutions conduct admissions based on University level Entrance examinations followed by group discussion and Personal Interview.
