Your opportunity to secure admission in a BAMS college in Bihar through the OBC category and defence quota with 500 marks in NEET will depend on annual cut-off levels combined with defense quota college resource availability across Bihar. You should apply for counselling and regularly visit website.

With a NEET UG 2024 score of 383 and being an SC candidate, you qualify for BAMS admissions since the cutoff for SC students is 40th percentile, which corresponds to scores ranging from 161 to 127.

Yet, obtaining admission in one of the Karnataka government Ayurvedic colleges is highly competitive.

Getting admission into Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Science for MBBS is not considered "easy" as it is based on merit through NEET scores, meaning you need a relatively high rank to secure a seat, although the college is considered a good option for students with a competitive NEET score compared to other private medical colleges in India; admission is primarily based on your performance in the NEET exam.

Key points to remember:

NEET based admission:

Admission to Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Science is entirely based on your NEET score.

There is a high chances of not getting any seat in any MBBS college even with state quota until and unless you belongs to a certain communutiy.Even now a days that reserved category are unable to get a seat in medical college with such marks.Day to day competion is setting high bar and to be on safer side try to score more than 500 atleast. For confirmation try to check previous year cutoff.

Due to high cutoffs it is difficult for an EWS candidate with a NEET UG score of 309 to get a seat in the majority of government medical colleges for MBBS. You might however look into other government-funded medical schools which frequently have lower cutoffs. For example government schools may provide free or heavily discounted tuition for BAMS (Ayurvedic Medicine), BHMS (Homoeopathy), or BUMS (Unani Medicine). The cutoffs for reserved categories may also be lower at some state-run dentistry schools.

Your NEET score is mandatory for the admission to Sumatibhai Shah Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course in Pune The General category cut-off rank in All India Rank in the 2022 admission cycle was approximately 126923.
This means 350-400 might increase your chances of getting admitted. Please note that cutoffs change annually based on a range of factors such as the number of applications available seats and general exam performance. So your chances will be better if you target a higher score.

At 690 marks and an AIR of 3,800 in NEET, you have a good chance of getting into Seth G.S. Medical College for MBBS. The OBC rank of 1,300 also puts you in good stead, since cutoffs for the college last year have been at levels of approximately 1,010 for the All India quota. But admission is based on several factors such as overall competition and certain cutoff trends for the year. It is advisable to stay updated on the latest counseling rounds and cutoff announcements to assess your chances accurately.
