No, NEET is not required for admission into BSc Respiratory Therapy Technology. Instead, admissions are typically based on the marks obtained in higher secondary education (12th grade) with a focus on subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

No gong for Pediatrician course without MBBS is not possible in India or most parts of world.

MBBS is foundational medical degree needed to become a licensed doctor. After MBBS one must go for PG training like MD Pediatrics to specialize in pediatric care.

Hope this held your query! All the best!

Yes, you can get direct admission to Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SLIMS) for MBBS, but it must be through the NEET exam. Admissions are based on merit, so you need to qualify in the NEET exam and then go through the centralized counseling by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). Without a NEET score, direct admission isn't allowed as per the National Medical Commission (NMC) rules.

In 2024, the closing rank for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was 40258 which is very close to this range. This was for the All India quota General Category. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

Yes, Kasturba Medical College considers NEET score for admission to specific courses. The college accepts the scores and rank of national-level entrance examinations such as NEET UG for MBBS, NEET PG, Manipal Entrance Test and NEET SS. KMC Manipal does not offer direct admission in any of its programme and candidates need to appear for the respective NEET examination for the applied course.
