For UG Pediatrics courses, such as nursing or allied health sciences, NEET is generally not required. However, if you want to become a pediatrician, you must first complete an MBBS, which requires clearing NEET UG.
After obtaining the MBBS degree, those who wish to specialize in pediatrics must clear NEET PG to gain admission into postgraduate programs like MD Pediatrics.
Therefore, while NEET is not needed for most UG pediatric-related courses, it is essential for medical students pursuing pediatric specialization.

No, pursuing Pediatrician course without an MBBS degree is not possible in India or most parts of the world. The MBBS is the foundational medical degree required to become a licensed doctor. After completing MBBS, one must pursue postgraduate training, such as an MD Pediatrics, to specialize in pediatric care.
However, there are alternative healthcare roles in pediatrics, like Pediatric Nursing, child psychology, or pediatric physiotherapy, which do not require an MBBS but still allow professionals to work closely with children in medical settings.

Yes, you can get direct admission to Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SLIMS) for MBBS, but it must be through the NEET exam. Admissions are based on merit, so you need to qualify in the NEET exam and then go through the centralized counseling by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). Without a NEET score, direct admission isn't allowed as per the National Medical Commission (NMC) rules.

Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

No, the GNM course does not require the NEET exam. Admission to the GNM course is based on Class 12 scores. NEET is primarily for admission to Medical courses like MBBS and BDS.
For the GNM course, candidates usually need to have completed their Class 12 education with a focus on Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). Some institutions may also accept students from other streams, but the preference is often given to Science students.
