Being LPU alumni, I would share the eligibility of the course. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU makes perfect sense for lateral entry as it ensures the following programme outcomes:
1: Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, and computational skills and tools.
2: Ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using releva

NIT Raipur is worth. It is the best college for placements, and it is suitable for hardworking students.
Placements: Metallurgical and materials engineering is a very good branch. We get a lot of free time as the subject is mostly practical. In GATE 2020, our college ranked 41 from the metallurgical department.
