Candidates seeking admission to the BSc Nursing course must meet the minimum MGMIHS BSc eligibility criteria. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc Nursing programme must have passed the Class 12 examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and, English Core/ English Elective individually with at least 45% aggregate taken together in PCB subjects in the qualifying examination or must have passed the Class 12 exams in Science stream conducted by the NIOS with 45% aggregate.

Candidates seeking admission to BSc allied health sciences programme must meet the MGMIHS BSc eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects or have passed the equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination can get admission to the MGMIHS BSc course.
The institute also offers admission through the Lateral Entry mode for which candidates must have an undergraduate degree Allied Health Sciences wherever corresponding Diploma courses are available in the concerned specialty.
