Admission to Advocate Balasaheb Apte College of Law typically requires scores from the MHCET Law entrance exam, as selection is based on these scores and centralized admission counseling. Without MHCET Law, it may be challenging to secure a spot in the LL.B. course. You have to write the entrance exam.

The cutoff varies each year based on applicant performance. Generally, candidates with scores above 90–100 (out of 150) have a good chance of admission.

Candidates are advised to focus on all the sections asked in the MH CET Law exam. Each section carry importance and finally add into the final score. Also, you can see the weightage of the sections asked in MHCET Law exam, the Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning sections carry more marks than the other sections. In the 3-year LLB exam of Maharashtra LAWCET, English section also carry more weightage in the exam. Students should have a strategic approach while preparing for the exam, keeping in mind the exam pattern and MHCET Law marking scheme.

As per the previous year trends, the score above 99 will be considered a good score for both 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. However, the good score depends on many factors such as targetted college, category of the candidate, reservation policy, and the overall performance of the candidate. For admission to top law colleges accepting MH Law CET score, the cut off score is declared which also depends on the number of the candidate and difficulty level of the papers.
