Hello Gourav, The rules state that, reserved seats will be given only to the students who are domicile of Maharashtra. As you are not, you can seek admission against all India quota but it's based on JEE Mains ranking.

First of all, it depends on your priorities. If you want to study only in Maharashtra, then MHCET might be a better option for you as it is applicable for all the law colleges in Maharashtra. If you are not specific about a state and can study in any part of the country but looking for best law schools of the country then go for CLAT as all the national law universities take admission only through CLAT. See what is your priority and decide.

Yes, it is necessary to give MHTCET exam to get into Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology (DYPIET, Ambi), as admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHTCET).

MHCET 2018 Result has been announced by the board on or before 3rd June 2018. The result is released through online mode. After the result declared, a separate merit list will be prepared for all the courses. So kindly wait for it and keep visiting the official website.

As your score is too low, it might not be possible. However, if you belong to any reserved category then for that wait for the rank and cut off. If you are within the cutoff then you will be called for counselling.
