MHCET law exam is a multiple choice paper with different sections like English, reasoning, GK, etc. It is an offline exam.

MHCET covers most of the government law schools in Maharashtra and by performing well in the MHCET exam that will be held on 22nd April. If you fulfill a college's required score, then apply for admission there. Hope this helps.

Though, it is not required to visit your examination centre before your exam but to avoid rush or any type of address related confusion on your exam day, you may visit and confirm your examination centre.

That's very good of you because in Mumbai, they also give admission according to MHCET as well as JEE Mains. So, relax and attend the paper of MHCET. It would be helpful to you if you are resident of Maharashtra.

For Maharashtra CET, the books of Arihant is great. However, you may also take MTG books also for the core Practice. The Practice annual and sample papers are testing best. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

You can go visit the centre prior to the day of the exam if you don't know the location and want to confirm it so that it will be easy for you to reach there on the exam day. But, not at all important to visit if you are sure you'll reach there on time.
